Ellis Furniture has been in business for 92 years which nowadays is almost unheard of! Staff has over 100 years combined experience in retail furniture business. Numerous awards have been received locally and regionally for community betterment and charitable awards throughout the years.
Ellis Furniture Company was established in 1922 as a music store, Ellis Music Company, specializing in pianos and instruments, radios and sheet music. After just a few years furniture pieces were added along with the music to provider wider selections to the customers. In addition, televisions and appliances such as washers and refrigerators were added. Ellis Music & Furniture company had the very first television in Vernon County. Appliances continued to be carried until 1980 when it became exclusively furniture and named Ellis Furniture Company.
Ellis Furniture proudly supports numerous local educational activities for school and the community.
